Walker & Co expands its support for grassroots sport

4 September 2026

The Practice are proud to be sponsoring four local athletes during their 2026/27 sporting season.

Liane Folkenstern

Attacking Midfielder | Bournemouth Sports Ladies FC

Following a successful partnership last season, we're delighted to continue supporting Liane as she embarks on another campaign in Tier 4 of the Women's National Football League. Liane enjoyed an outstanding 2025/26 season, finishing as the club's Silver Boot winner for the most assists.

Hollie Shaw

Central Midfielder | Bournemouth Sports Ladies FC

We’re delighted to support Hollie as she returns for another campaign in Tier 4 of the Women’s National Football League. After more than a year out following ACL reconstructive surgery, Hollie is ready to make her return to competitive football. As both a talented midfielder and an Adviser at Walker & Co Financial Planning, we’re particularly proud to be supporting her both on and off the pitch.

Ewan Dent

Defender | Bere Regis FC

Joining our sponsorship programme this season, Ewan represents Bere Regis FC in defence. We look forward to following his progress throughout the year.

Kaitlyn Phillips

Flanker | Swanage & Wareham RFC

We're also pleased to welcome Kaitlyn Phillips to our sponsorship programme. The season kicks off at the end of September 2026.

Each of our sponsored athletes represents qualities we admire: dedication, grit, teamwork and a commitment to keep improving.

Lee Walker, Director of Walker & Co Financial Planning, said:

"Supporting local sport is about more than putting our name on a shirt. We see it as encouraging people who work incredibly hard to achieve their goals. As an office team predominantly from the Dorset area, many of us have seen firsthand the positive impact grassroots clubs have in the area. We're looking forward to following Liane, Hollie, Ewan and Kaitlyn throughout the season and wish them every success."

Special thanks to the rugby and football coaches plus all the supporting roles within these clubs who tirelessly help develop the squads year on year.
